Afghanistan tops list of civilian casualties caused by explosive weapons

Ground-launched weapons accounted for 10% of civilian casualties, whilst airstrikes accounted for 8%; 2019 was the worst year for civilian casualties in Afghanistan, with 4,630 deaths and injuries.
