World: IFAD members approve ambitious $2 billion plan to reduce hunger and poverty for 100 million rural people

Pledges already exceed the total $1.28 billion promised for 2022-24. IFAD expects more pledges as it works to mobilize $2 billion in new funding to implement a $10 billion programme.
