People eating leaves to survive in South Sudan as aid fails to keep pace with spiralling hunger crisis

More than half the population – 6.6 million people – are severely hungry, including 2.2 million at risk of starvation. Without an urgent increase in aid, 7.7 million people face severe food shortages.
