Jordan’s Za’atari camp turns 10 still housing 80,000 Syrian refugees

Ten years ago, 450 Syrians fleeing the fighting in their country emerged from the desert and crossed the border into Jordan. They became the first inhabitants of the newly opened Za’atari refugee camp.
