Burkina Faso: UNHCR warns of mounting needs in Sahel as forced displacement intensifies

Armed conflict, extreme poverty, food insecurity, climatic changes, and COVID-19 converge in the Sahel. Across the wider region, more than 2.7 million people have been forced to flee their homes.
