UN allocates $20 million to scale up emergency response to food security and nutrition crisis in north-east Nigeria

Almost 700,000 under-fives are likely to suffer from severe acute malnutrition in Borno, Adamawa and Yobe states in 2023. This is more than double the number in 2022 and four times the number in 2021.
